
'‘Fleeting Moments'‘
“ I arrived in darkness, leaving behind the warmth of my bed. The crunch of frosted snow underfoot as I made my way down the path. The freezing night air rapidly cooling my body. Only myself present. The piercing silence of the woodland interrupted briefly by the screech of an owl. A cathedral of trees slowly began to emerge out of semi-darkness , blanketed in snow and mist . I stood mesmerised observing my surroundings. The moment was now. Removing my glove I raised the camera and for a split second I was at one with nature , transported to another world. All the required elements aligned as I squeezed the shutter. Then as quickly as it had arrived the moment had passed, captured on camera for eternity. I’m glad I made it out that morning ”………….
